In order to gain market share in Light Commercial and Single Family Housing in Northern Nevada New Hire Hod Carriers may be employed by the employer in accordance with the provision of this section. It is mutually agreed that the new hire provisions shall only apply to all single family dwellings, including but not limited to condominiums and apartments not exceeding five (5) stories in height, and small commercial new construction up to seven million dollars ($7,000,000) of total job construction. The new hire provisions may only be applied to other nonresidential construction with the approval of the union and new hire Hod Carriers shall not exceed the ratio allowed for apprentices to journeyman in the apprenticeship standards.
