Union members will receive a $1.80 wage and benefit increase starting on October 1, 2022 unless you are working on a public works project.*
The raise will be allocated as follows:
• $1.50 – Wages
•$0.25 – Pension
• $0.02 – LECET
• $0.03 – Vacation Administration Fee**
**Vacation Administration Fee is a non-taxable employer paid fee, paid above the taxable vacation pay benefit. This new contribution will shift the Administration costs from the participants to the employers and make the vacation plan more efficient.
Through negotiations with the employers, Brick Hod Carriers and the Plaster Hod Carriers wage and benefit increases and allocations are exactly the same as the Laborers’ Master Agreement shown above.
*Wage rates are frozen on public works projects. This means prevailing wage projects bid prior to October 1, 2022 will remain frozen for the duration of the project. The benefit contributions and dues check-off will not remain frozen and will go into effect on October 1, 2022 on all projects. The check-off dues will increase from $1.21 to $1.26 on all projects effective October 1, 2022.
