Local 169 Nevada Election Results

As most of you know already this year’s election had the highest voter turnout ever. We want to thank all of our members that voted!!! 

Our next President and Vice President are Joe Biden and Kamala Harris!

NV US House of Representatives

The 4 incumbents all won re-election:

  • Rep. Mark Amodei (R) in the north’s Congressional District 2,
  • Rep. Dina Titus (D) in southern Nevada’s Congressional District 1,
  • Rep. Susie Lee (D) in Congressional District 3, and
  • Rep. Steven Horsford (D) in Congressional District 4.

Nevada Legislature

Our State Senate is one seat short of a super majority of Democrats. Democrats won 13 seats while Republicans won eight seats.

Nevada Assembly

Three incumbent Democrats lost to Republicans, but the Dems still hold the majority with the final tally equalling 26 Democrats to 16 Republicans.            

Local Results

All four Reno city council endorsed candidates won! We had endorsed two candidates for Sparks City Council, and both lost. Washoe County Commission had two endorsed candidates. One lost, and one won.
