Local 169 Union Member Ernie Rosas was on his way into work at Q&D Construction when an impaired driver hit his car on the morning of June 1, 2020. As a result, he has lost the use of both legs and one arm. Rosas recently had a baby. His coworkers say that he had a positive and contagious attitude in life, and that everything was going right for him. Even directly after the crash, Rosas thought of others by calling up his foreman from the hospital bed in the emergency room. Rosas has surgery coming up and faces the very real possibility of living the rest of his life in a wheelchair. The impaired driver who hit him is facing felony charges.  See the news report of the accident.
