This 40-hour course presents print-reading fundamentals. Topics include sketching, computer-aided design, trade math symbols and abbreviations, plot plans, elevations, sections and details. This 16-hour class covers the safe operation of boom lifts and scissor lifts and the safety precautions that must be observed during operation. Topics include vehicle stability and limitations; personal fall arrest systems; overhead and other hazards; and equipment inspections. This 4-hour certification course has been approved by the Nevada Department of Transportation and covers procedures for flaggers working on NDOT projects.
